The complete research activity initiates with formulating the problem and finishes with report writing. The important part to be understood is that majorly time should be contributed to correct formulation of the research problem by the researcher. Forty per cent of the complete effort should be devoted to formulation of problem and enquiry method should not take more than thirty per cent. Research method, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation respectively should take twenty and ten per cent.
